Abigail Seif

It is my goal to provide a step-by-step, comprehensive approach to help my clients with their asylum claims. While I have formerly worked in many areas of the law, my practice is now a boutique, full-service asylum practice. My 20 years of experience working in all aspects of asylum including the, Asylum office, Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, Federal Litigation and the 7th Circuit of Appeals.

As the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s liaison to the Chicago Asylum Office, for the State of Indiana, I work with a network of attorneys who focus on helping our clients complete their path to citizenship; as well as other legal issues that may arise. Trial experience, preparation and open dialogue are the foundations to our success.

MEMBERSHIPS AND LICENSES

I am licensed to practice law in Indiana, Ohio (currently on inactive status), The United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. I am an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA) as the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association’s liaison to the Chicago Asylum Office for the State of Indiana.
